MENA's 2019 DRI operations strong, Egypt improves: Midrex
Middle East and North African direct reduced iron production through Midrex plants performed well on the whole in 2019, with improvement in Egypt.
Al Tuwairqi-owned DRIC in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, reported an annual production record at each of its two modules for a second consecutive year in 2019, thanks to an increased number of operating hours. Their combined output reached 1.09 million tonnes, Midrex says in its latest quarterly report seen by Kallanish.
