MENA steel demand growth to rebound in 2018
Middle East and North Africa finished steel demand should grow 5% on-year in 2018 to 75.3 million tonnes, following a -1.1% contraction in 2017, worldsteel says in its April short-range outlook (SRO). The 2018 growth figure has been revised up from a 4.5% forecast in worldsteel’s previous SRO last October.
