Meishan Steel restarts No.2 BF
Baosteel's Nanjing subsidiary, Meishan Steel (Meigang), has resumed production after the overhaul of its No.2 blast furnace, according to the company.
The 1,280 cubic-metre blast furnace officially restarted on 15 February, with a design capacity of 1.18 million tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
