Meijin starts Inner Mongolia coking project construction
Shanxi province's Meijin Energy (Meijin) Group has started the construction of its coking project in Inner Mongolia, Kallanish notes.
The company plans to build a plant in the Coking Supporting Chemical Cycle Industry Park in Urad Front Banner, Bayan Nur, which will have the capacity to produce 5 million tonnes/year of coke. The production equipment includes eight 60-oven coke batteries with a carbonisation chamber height of 6.25 meters.
