Meigang begins environmental protection upgrade project
Chinese engineering supplier China MCC 19 has won an order for a dust removal project for Meishan Iron & Steel (Meigang). The steelmaker is affiliated to Baosteel, Kallanish notes.
The project covers Meigang’s No.1 steelmaking facility. Meigang plans to upgrade the fume extraction system and electrical machinery of three 150-tonne converters. Two ladle furnaces and two continuous casters in the No.1 steelmaking plant will also be upgraded. Th…
