Megasteel confirms steelworks closure
Malaysia’s Megasteel confirms it closed its flats steelworks in Selangor completely on 30 August. Malaysia has been unable to protect its steelmakers from import competition and other issues but its re-rollers are showing more promise, Kallanish notes.
