Mechel posts coal, steel output decline

Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel continued to expand its coal sales geography during the first half of 2018. However, it kept mining volumes stable with some declines in thermal coal mining in favour of coking coal, the company says in a report seen by Kallanish.
