Mechel's Chelyabinsk plant launches welded beam production
Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant (ChMK), a unit of Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel, has started to produce welded beams, Kallanish learns from a statement by Mechel.
The launch of a welded beam production unit at one of the rolling shops of the plant will enable ChMK to expand the range of its construction steel products. The first batch of welded beams will be shipped to customers at the end of September.
