Mechel’s BMK increases shipments due to construction demand

Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel's Beloretsk steelworks (BMK) increased shipments in August, the company says. BMK shipped over 36,000 tonnes of steel, up by 2% on-year, Kallanish notes. The main markets were the construction industry and electrodes producers.
