Mechel to supply rail to Moscow Metro
Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel has won the tender to supply tram rails to the Moscow Metro, the company says.
Over 5,000 tonnes of RT62 type rail will be shipped under the contract from September, Kallanish notes. Rail will be produced at Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant (ChMK).
