Mechel supplies rebar for World Cup stadium
Russia’s Mechel will be one of the rebar suppliers for the "Nizhny Novogorod" stadium for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker.
The company will supply about 3,000 tonnes of rebar for the construction of the sports stadium, which can hold up to 45,000 spectators.
The venue will also host the team FC Olimpiyets Nizhny Novgorod after the end of 2018 World Cup.
