Mechel Service increases shipments in third quarter
Mechel’s trading arm Mechel-Service posted a 2.6% on-year increase in shipments in the third quarter to 1.1 million tonnes, the company says.
Stainless steel sheet sales reported the fastest growth of 52%, Kallanish notes. Beam sales grew by 41%, rebar by 35%, strip by 32% and wire rod by 23%.
