Mechel's Moscow coke plant boosts sales
Mechel’s Moscow coke and gas plant posted a 7% on-year increase in production in January-September to 546,000 tonnes, Kallanish notes from a Mechel statement.
Nine-month coke shipments increased 7% to 546,000t. Coal tar shipments rose by 15% to 23,000t.
Revenue from coke and coke-chemical products sales increase by 7% on-year to RUB 5.8 billion ($92.9 million). This growth was due to the 3% increase in coke prices.
