Mechel's Izhstal records sales growth in H1
Mechel’s Izhstal steelworks recorded 31% on-year growth in sales of finished products to 36,500 tonnes in the first half of 2016, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker.
The increase is due to growth in intragroup and external shipments. There was also a rise by 15% in steel casting output to 113,000t. Izhstal produces carbon, alloy and stainless steel round, square and hexagonal bars.
