Mechel increases coking coal production in July
Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel’s South Kuzbass coking coal company increased coal production in July, the company says.
The volume amounted to more than 1 million tonnes of coal, up by 45% on-year, Kallanish notes.
In January-July production was 6.6mt, more by 69% on-year. The growth in shipments to consumers was 40%.
