Mechel increases coking coal production in January-June
Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel’s South Kuzbass coking coal company increased coal production in first half-year, the company says.
The volume amounted to more than 5.6 million tonnes of coal, up by 74% on-year, Kallanish notes.
Second-quarter production was 2.8mt, more by 56% on-year.
