Mechel delivers first steel rope to Rosneft
Mechel's Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant has delivered the first batch of 650 tonnes of steel rope for the drilling rigs of Rosneft, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker.
In total, BMK will supply to the oil and gas company 3,000t of two different types of rope: one is rope for deep exploration drilling, the other is a newly-developed high-strength and durability rotary drill line.
