Mechel continues to ramp up coking coal production
Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel's South Kuzbass coking coal company increased coal production in January-October, the company says.
The volume amounted to more than 9.2 million tonnes of coal, up by 38% on-year, Kallanish notes. In January-September production had been 8.4mt, up by 50% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
