MCS Steel profits surge on cheap inputs

Thai-headquartered steel fabricator MCS Steel says its profits could increase again in 2016 after surging in 2015. The company expects to boost earnings in Japan and expand new markets in the USA this year, Kallanish notes. MCS saw net profits jump 654% in 2015 to THB 618.22 million ($17m), with total sales reaching 48,000 tonnes.
