MCC completes Hoa Phat's 2mt coke project
China's MCC 20, China Minmetals Corporation and Shanxi Zhongke say they have completed a coke project for Vietnam's leading steelmaker, Hoa Phat Group.
The coking project has now reached a total of 2 million tonnes/year of capacity, Kallanish notes. It was divided into two phases, with each phase having 1m t/y of coke capacity, across 16 coke ovens in total, with eight ovens in each phase.
