MC Mining eyes third-quarter coking coal mine construction
South Africa’s MC Mining says it should secure by the third quarter the balance of funding required to commence construction of Phase 1 of the Makhado hard coking coal project, Kallanish notes.
Phase 1 of the project, located in the Soutpansberg coalfield in the Limpopo province, includes modifications to the existing Vele Colliery processing plant and the development of the Makhado west pit.
