French car output resumes on-year growth in May
French vehicle manufacturing output recovered in May following April’s brief deceleration.
After slowing in April by -6% year-on-year, French passenger car output resumed its upward trend increasing by 8.9% in May when the country’s output reached 191,419 units, French carmakers’ association CCFA confirms to Kallanish. Output in January-May also grew by 3.3% y-o-y to 904,344 units.
