Argentina crude steel production rises on-year in May
Crude steel production in Argentina in May jumped 11.2% compared to last year to 438,100 tonnes, despite weakening conditions in the construction sector during the last two months. This is according to a note published by the local steelmaking association Cámara Argentina del Acero (CAA) monitored by Kallanish.
Compared with April this year, crude steel production moved down by -5.4%.
