French crude steel output increases in March

French crude steel production increased year-on-year in March following a decline in January and February, Kallanish learns from data released by the Federation Française de l’Acier (FFA). Output increased by 2.2% to 1,382,000 tonnes last month. This was up from 1,352,000t in March 2017. Over the first three months of the year output however fell by -2.6% to 1,291,000 tonnes/month.
