Marcegaglia pushes up tube prices
Italian re-roller Marcegaglia is pushing up prices by €20/tonne ($22) across its entire range of tube products for new orders and with immediate effect, Kallanish learns from the company.
While tube discounts have fallen from the level of 50 to 48 points in most European countries, the company is now announcing its new level of discount at 46 points. Each point of discount is equal to €10/t, Kallanish notes.
