Marcegaglia increases tube prices for October
Italian re-roller Marcegaglia is pushing up prices for its welded tube products starting from October, Kallanish learns from the company.
The company will consolidate by the end of September the discount level of 40 points. Starting from October it intends to further reduce discounts to 38 points, a much-needed price increase considering the high cost and short supply of hot rolled coil. Each point is equal to approximately €10/tonne ($11).
