Marcegaglia to buy Evraz Palini Bertoli
The Italian-headquartered re-roller and processor Marcegaglia, is set to buy the plate re-rolling plant of Palini Bertoli, in northern Italy, from Russian steelmaker Evraz.
The rumours were confirmed this week by the official opening of a simplified merger procedure within the European authorities.
Marcegaglia is set to acquire the entire corporate capital of Palini Bertoli through its unit Marcegaglia Plates.
