Manufacturing shifts in the US continue to decline
Monthly shift volume in the US manufacturing industry continued to decline into the new year, Kallanish learns from data gathered by Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) for its monthly workforce activity report.
According to the report, the volume of manufacturing shifts worked in the US decreased by 5% in January. The monthly decline in shift volume follows a 2.4% decrease in shift volume during December.
