Manufacturing shifts fall in the US during March
Monthly shift volume in the US manufacturing industry shrank during March, Kallanish learns from data gathered by Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) for its monthly workforce activity report.
According to the report, the monthly volume of manufacturing shifts worked in the US decreased by 2.4% during March. Prior to this latest decline, shift volume in the US manufacturing industry rose by 6.5% in February, after falling by 5% at the beginning of the year.
