Manufacturing shifts decline in the US during March
US manufacturing saw monthly shift volume decline in March following growth in February, Kallanish learns from data collected by Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) for its workforce activity report.
According to the report, US manufacturing shifts worked decreased by 1.6% in March following a 2.9% increase in the prior month. The overall average US monthly shift volume decreased, as well, by 1.2% in March following a 1.9% increase in February.
