Manufacturing labour declines in the US during August
Monthly shift volume in the US manufacturing industry declined in August following a three-month period of growth, Kallanish learns from data gathered by Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) for its monthly workforce activity report.
According to the report, manufacturing shifts worked in the US fell by 1.7% during August following a 2% gain in July and a 1.9% gain in June.
