Manufacturing industry in the US retracts during May
Manufacturing in the US continued its downward trend into May, with shifts worked in the industry falling for the third month in a row, Kallanish learns from data gathered by Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG).
According to a monthly workforce activity report, the volume of manufacturing shifts worked in the US fell by 1.7% during May, with declining levels in all four US regions.
