Malaysia's steel price index inches higher in February
The price index of steel recorded increases of 0.1% to 1.9% in February for almost all areas in Malaysia as compared to January, Kallanish notes.
The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) says in a statement that that an annual comparison for the price index per unit of steel showed a decrease between 0.2% and 5.3% for February 2024 compared to February 2023.
