Malaysia’s steel price index falls in September
The price index of steel in Malaysia recorded a monthly decrease of between 0.1% and 4% in September, Kallanish notes.
The Department of Statistics Malaysia says in a statement that the price index per unit of steel fell in almost all areas in Malaysia as compared to August.
As compared to the same month last year, the price index per unit of steel declined between 0.8% to 13.3%.
