Malaysia's car production grows on-year in July
Malaysia's car production rose 5% year-on-year to 70,295 units in July, in line with higher car sales, Kallanish notes.
The Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) says in a statement that car production for the month included 66,010 passenger vehicles and 4,285 commercial vehicles. Car production was also higher than the 49,811 units made in June.
From January to July, car production also increased by 8% y-o-y to 462,347 units.
