Malaysian car production rises in January
Malaysian car production rose month-on-month and year-on-year in January, Kallanish notes.
The Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) says car output was 76,077 units, up 14.88% from 66,224 units in December and up 30% versus 58,527 a year ago.
Meanwhile, the country's car sales fell 16.45% to 65,499 units in January from 78,398 units in December. On-year, however, they jumped 30.56% from 50,168.
