Malaysia's Alliance Steel begins testing bar/wire rod mill
Alliance Steel (M) Sdn Bhd is planning to produce rebar and wire rod soon, Kallanish hears. The Malaysian company has been testing and calibrating its 1.4 million tonnes/year bar and wire rod rolling mill in West Malaysia since last December.
