Malaysia’s Alliance Steel retrenches 1,000 workers
Alliance Steel has recently downsized its workforce substantially at its long products plant located at Kuantan, Pahang on the east coast of West Malaysia, Kallanish understands. The plant has a rated capacity of 3.5m tonnes/year of construction long products.
