Malaysia's Alliance Steel commissions second furnace
According to Shanghai Baoye Construction Corporation, the No.2 blast furnace of Malaysia's 3.5 million tonnes/year Alliance Steel project was successfully ignited on 24 August. This marks the first full-process steel plant invested and built by a mainland China company in Malaysia officially entering full production, Kallanish notes.
