Malaysian miner to list in Singapore
Malaysian iron ore miner Southern Alliance Mining (SAM) intends to list on the Singapore Exchange by the end of June. It aims to use the funds raised to explore further iron ore deposits, Kallanish notes.
The company aims to list 76 million shares at SGD 0.25 each, raising SGD 19 million ($13.6m) in total. The first day of trading is set for 26 June. SAM operates the Chaah mine in Johor. This produces low-impurity ore which can be beneficiated to 65% Fe for steel …
