Malaysian engineer plans Kuantan shipyard

Malaysian construction, engineering and industrial conglomerate Muhibbah Engineering Bhd says it is acquiring land at Kuantan to develop a shipbuilding and offshore engineering centre. Kuantan is due to see a Chinese-invested 3.5 million tonnes/year steelworks commissioned by the end of next year, Kallanish notes.
