Malaysia-Singapore high speed rail competition heats up
Competition between China and Japan to build a high speed rail line linking Singapore to the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur is heating up. The fight has been labelled round two of the two East Asian countries’ competition to supply Southeast Asia’s high speed rail infrastructure projects after China won a contract in Indonesia last year, Kallanish notes.
