Malaysia to promote steel industry consolidation
The Malaysian government is launching a formal plan to encourage consolidation in the local steel sector to boost profitability. At least 10 members of the Malaysian Iron and Steel Federation (Misif) have signalled support for the drive, Kallanish learns.
