Malaysian mills ask for wire rod safeguard
Malaysian wire rod and bar-in-coil producers have requested that a safeguard investigation is initiated into imports of drawn or rolled wire rod and deformed bar in coil. Local consumers however are concerned that duties could increase their costs, Kallanish notes.
