Kinsteel plans Malaysian electric arc furnace joint venture
China Tianjin Qiangbang Industry and Kin Kee Steel Service Centre (KKSSC) jointly plan to add an electric arc furnace and rolling mill to produce 500,000 tonnes/year of wire rod, Kallanish notes. KKSSC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysian steel manufacturer Kinsteel.
