Malaysia's Alliance Steel coking project moves forward
Shanghai Chengming Electric Group has reported that it has completed the supply, installation and commissioning of coke oven electrical equipment for the Alliance Steel project. The total capacity of this project is around 1.1 million tonnes/year of coke, Kallanish notes.
The project plans to build a coking plant including two 60-hole and 6-metre coke oven batteries and auxiliary facilities.
