Makstil partners with Danieli to upgrade reheating furnace
North Macedonian steel producer Makstil is revamping the reheating furnace at its plate mill in Skopje to enhance energy efficiency and reduce pollution, Kallanish learns from engineering company Danieli.
The project aims to reduce natural gas consumption by up to 10% and decrease the CO2 footprint. The upgrade, scheduled for completion by mid-2025, will also improve product quality and simplify maintenance.
