Main Algerian mill restarts blast furnace following maintenance
The integrated steelmaking site located in El Hadjar, Annaba, Algeria, has produced its first liquid metal from blast furnace number 2 following a period of maintenance, Kallanish learns from the Algerian official press agency. The plant had stopped working at the end of 2015.
On Sunday 19 March the blast furnace produced its first cast following the maintenance works at the blast furnace during recent months.
