Magnetite Mines produces green iron with saline water
Australian miner Magnetite Mines will produce green iron grade concentrates from its 100% owned Razorback iron ore project in South Australia by using saline water, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a statement that it has achieved pioneering laboratory test results demonstrating the potential to produce green iron feed grade magnetite concentrates largely using saline water (seawater) from a composite sample of Iron Peak deposit ore.
