Magang upgrades two blast furnaces

Anhui province's Ma'anshan Iron & Steel (Magang), a Baowu Group subsidiary, plans to upgrade two blast furnaces to commission in 2021 and 2022. The blast furnaces each have a 4,000 cubic-metre volume and 3.2 million tonnes/year of hot metal capacity, Kallanish notes.
